Pastor Kent will be leading a class on baptism in the church library for any who are interested in being baptized or having your children baptized today (Sunday, September 14th) at 4:00 p.m.
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study starts tomorrow morning at 9:30 and also a Bible Study on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Kent will be leading a six week study in Galatians. They meet in the library and all are welcome to attend.

Cruisers-this Friday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m., here at the church for a potluck dinner. If you plan on attending, give a call before 9/16 to Janelle Cochran at 591-3367 for menu planning (main dish or dessert).
Raisin Festival Women’s Luncheon- Wednesday, September 24 at 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, in Dinuba. Information is located on the counter outside the office and on the table in the foyer. Tickets are available in the church office for $10.00.

Beginning today our worship schedule will be as follows: every 1st Sunday-one service at 10 a.m.-Communion, all other Sunday’s-2 services, 9 a.m. Traditional and 10:30 a.m. Contemporary.

Please extend a warm welcome the Clovis Gospel Four as they will be sharing the message Sunday, August 31st.
The Choir will begin rehearsing this Wednesday, at 7 p.m. in preparation for the joint 10 a.m. worship service on September 7. The choir will sing several times each month at the 9 a.m. traditional service. Consider joining this fun group of singers.

Open Gate Ministries 34th Anniversary Dinner & Silent Auction- September 12 at 6 p.m. will be held at the First Methodist Church in Dinuba. Advance tickets are available in the church office for $10.00 each. The last day to purchase tickets is Sunday, September 7.

Our sincere thank you to all of you who have prayed, sent cards, and notes and visited with our Mom, Avalyn Halls, these past few years while she was at home. We especially give our thanks for your care and concern since she has moved to Sierra View, and through her recovery time from the hip fracture. It is a sure example of ministering in Christ’s name and being the church in action.
