Maundy Thursday Communion Service is April 1 at 6 pm and Easter Service is April 4 at 10 am.

Easter Lillies can be brought at any time. Please let the office know who the memorial is for so that it can be printed in the bulletin.

Easter Offering 2010 -  Will be taken on Easter to help the hungry, homeless, and people who have critical needs due to the recent natural disasters.  Half of the offering will go to Samaritan’s Purse, which is actively involved with the relief efforts in both Haiti and Chili.  The other half will be given to Open Gate to help with the food and shelter needs in our own community of Dinuba.  Please consider setting aside some money during the next few weeks to help those less fortunate.

There is an urgent need for nursery providers & there is a shortage of helpers. Someone is needed to cover the nursery next Sunday. If you are interested in this ministry please call the  church office.

On behalf of Ramey Valle and Margaret Lopez, they would like to say a “big thank you” to Harriet Carver & Sherry White for the wonderful baby shower they so graciously gave for Ramey last Sunday, and thanks to all the ladies that attended and for all the gifts, love and support they have shown.

A cell phone charger for the car was left in the Sanctuary, you can claim it in the office.

(Update) Help Needed!  Someone to cover the nursery next Sunday & April 4. Call the office if you are able to help out. There is a shortage of helpers, if you are interested in this ministry please call the office.

You are invited to celebrate what God is doing through Operation Christmas Child. Traci O’Neil from the West Coast Office of Samaritan’s Purse will be sharing her experience with the recent distribution of Christmas boxes in Ecuador.  This event is from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Calvary Chapel of Fresno, 3425 E. Shields Ave.

Nori will not have the Adult Discipleship class next Sunday.

Presbyterian Women’s Gathering is this Saturday at 9 am.  Westminster Circle is hosting the brunch.  Dinuba High School Madrigals are the guests. “Celebrate the Gifts of Women” recipient will be honored.

Fifteenth Annual Tulare-Kings Right to Life 2010 Walk for Life is Saturday, March 20, 9 am at Plaza Park in Visalia.  Information is posted in the narthex along with a pledge form.  To participate or for more information, call 732-5000.

The  PNC  has been elected—Greg Olson—Chair, Janelle Cochran- Deacon Rep., Sandy Hebert, Jim Brown, Donna Peterson, Tim Hofer, & Matt Naylor.

Cruisers “Sweetheart Dinner” will be at the Dragon Garden Restaurant in Dinuba, February 19 at 6 pm.  The cost is $10.00 per person which includes the meal, hot tea and the tip.  Please RSVP this Tuesday to Giese’s at 638-8364 or the Sadler’s at 638-4163.  Please come and bring your sweetheart.

Eric Sunderland is graduating in May and Session has approved purchase of a robe for him.  If you are interested, you may give gifts toward it.

Congregation Meeting/PNC Nominations is today after the service.

Souper Bowl of Caring-  place your donation in the ‘soup pot’ after the service today.  Proceeds go to Open Gate Ministries.

Deacons will be at the exit doors after the worship service collecting for their fund.

Annual Report 2009 is ready for pick up in the narthexes.

Celebrate the Gifts of Women—nominations are now being accepted for a woman in our church family.  Nomination papers are available in the church office and must be submitted on/before February 24.  At our March 6, P.W. Gathering, she will be honored.

Pastor Nominating Committee—if you would like to nominate someone or yourself for this committee please give the names to Hans Wilgenburg, Steve Musson, Bette George, Lucille Franzen or Sherry White.

Arm Chair and Step Aerobics resumes tomorrow. Arm Chair is at 10 am Mondays and Wednesdays and the Step class is at 5:45 pm Mondays and Wednesdays.

Women’s Bible Study— 6 week Lenten Series begins Tuesday, February 16 at 9:30 am in the library and led by Pastor Kent.

African Children’s Choir – this Friday, at 7 pm.  Extra inserts are in the narthex to pass out to friends, family & neighbors.

Blessing the Nations Church- Barbara Cueto a bi-lingual speaker will be speaking here Sunday, Feb. 21 at 5 pm and sharing how God preformed a miracle in her life. You are invited to attend.

Dinuba Senior Center Fund Raiser Dinner—Saturday, December 5 at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $15.00 and available at the Dinuba Senior Center, 591-2450 or by calling 591-5054.  Entertainment is by Greg Olson, Tammy Allen and Friends, andcatered by Pat Dahlgren.

Lost & Found items are in a drawer in the office for you to claim.

Upper Room Devotionals for Jan/Feb are available for pickup.

Samaritan Purse was a big success this year—59 boxes and $366.00 was collected.  Barbara Fry thanks all who participated in giving gifts from the heart!
