Justin Hebert is our guest speaker this coming Sunday. Next Sunday Matt Naylor will be with us.

Calvin Crest Conferences Annual Summer Celebration is Saturday, July 31 beginning at 3 pm. The cost for dinner is $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for children 2-10 yrs, free for age 2 and under. See posted information in the narthex.

Building & Grounds will meet tomorrow at 6:30 pm.

Notice: If you made a contribution on 3/21/10 you may have a corrected semi-annual statement coming by the end of the month.

A rummage sale is at the church Saturday July 17 from 8 am to 12 pm.

Dorothy Little has moved to Reedley, please call the church office for her new address and phone number.

It was great having Pastor Kent back today, and to be reminded of our need to love and cherish God’s word!

Gloria Gaona with Open Gate Ministries is our guest speaker this Sunday. Join us and show your support for Open Gate!

Next Sunday Rev. Eric Sunderland will be our guest speaker. Rev. Sunderland grew up in our church and we are honored to be hosting his first sermon as an official Minister of the Word and Sacrament.

Cruisers/Kayaks will be having their annual BBQ Friday, June 26 at 6:30 pm at Tom & Janelle Cochran’s and co-hosted by Larry & Sherry White. RSVP to the Cochran’s at 591-3367 on or before June 20. Cost is $5.00 per person.

Upper Room Devotionals large print is available for pick up.

“Mission Weeks” kicks off this Sunday with Rev. Sandy Brown, interim director of Calvin Crest is with us. A special offering will be taken and mission envelopes are included in your bulletin. Join us for a great worship experience followed by cookie time!

Care is provided for children of all ages.

“Mission Weeks” continues next Sunday with Gloria Gaona from Open Gate Ministries.

This Sunday we will feature guest speaker David Eddiger, the Pastor of Blessing the Nations Church in Reedley and Dinuba. Mr. Eddiger was previously a missionary in South America, and truly lives to spread the Gospel.

Service is 10am-11am, childcare is available. We would love to see you there!

Deacons will be at the exit doors today after the service collecting for their fund.

Building & Grounds will meet Monday, May 10 at 6:30 pm.

Open Gate Ministries “Model Home Furniture Silent Auction” begins May 1–22 at Bel-Aire Court (Eaton Ave., between Sequoia and Davis in Dinuba). Dates and times are posted in the narthex, with pictures of some items. It’s a great opportunity to buy at bargain prices & benefit your local homeless shelter & food pantry. For more information call Open Gate at 591-1241.

A new list of shelter needs for Open Gate is posted in the narthex.

Open Gate Ministries “Mother’s Day Salad Bar Luncheon” – is Wednesday. May 5 from 11 am-1 pm at the 1st Assembly of God (corner of “L” & Mono) sorry, no takeout. Cost is $5.00. Call 591-1241 for more information.

Please pick up your Easter Lily ASAP.

Women’s Bible Study is on Mondays at 9am and 6:30 pm. The study will be “The Churches in the Book of Revelations”—7 weeks and taught by Pastor Kent.

Building & Grounds committee will meet tomorrow at 6:30 pm.

Arm Chair Aerobics will resume tomorrow at 10 am & Step Aerobics will resume tomorrow at 5:30 pm.

Cruisers & Kayaks will meet this Friday at 6 pm at Las Canana’s Mexican Restaurant, 820 N. Alta (across from Rite Aid). Cost ranges up to $15.00 per person, includes meal, drink, tax & tip. RSVP to Becky Brown at 638-3794 or Gwen Krahn at 638-4535 by Wednesday, April 14.

A Baby Shower for Connie & Justin Hebert is Sunday, May 2 at 1 pm here at the church. “It’s a Girl!” Baby registry is at Babies R Us. Ladies please join us. Come and have a “Beary” good time.
