Congregational Meeting—next Sunday between services  for the purpose of electing officers.

Samaritan Purse Christmas Boxes –  Barbara Fry will  pick up the boxes Sunday, November 15.  Shoe boxes are needed, please bring them to the church.

The Parish Annual is  Sunday, November 22 at 5:30 p.m. here at the church.  If your last name begins with A-M please bring a side dish, N-Z please bring a salad.  Be sure to bring your own table service.

Looking for Talent!! If you would like to be a part of the program portion of the Parish Annual coming up on Sunday night November 22 here at the church, call Hans Wilgenburg.  Thanks!

Kayaks Thanksmas Soup Potluck—Friday, December 4 – 6 pm, at the church. Olson’s & Musson’s are hosting.

Trustees will meet this Tuesday at 6:30 pm.

Nancy Moranda will soon be moving to Virginia.  Next Sunday  between services  coffee and cake will be provided to give us an opportunity to see her and wish her well.

P.W. Dessert Social—coming up Sunday, August 23 at 6:30 pm.  The Circles, Kayaks and Cruisers will each contribute a basket and you will be able to purchase tickets for a drawing.  Please come and invite your family and friends for a fun evening, delicious desserts and great fellowship!

Deacons will be at the doors after the service collecting for their fund.

Marge Freeman is in need of drivers to get to upcoming appointments—August 5, 10 & 12—10 am in Visalia at Kaweah Delta.  If you are able to help out please call her at 591-2976, it would be greatly appreciated.  She appreciates all the ones who are presently helping out.

Upper Room Devotionals are ready for pick up.

Calvin Crest Conferences Summer Celebration— next Sunday beginning at 3 pm. An afternoon of celebration, music & worship is planned. To donate for the silent auction or for more information call Scott Henderson at 683-4450 x211 or Marci Haas at 355-5438.  Information for pick up is in the narthex along with posted information.

Welcome Jeremy Johnson this Sunday, he will be sharing experiences while in Kenya. A “love offering” will be taken for his ministry. Finger sandwiches, cookies, punch and coffee will be served after the service.
Elizabeth Prasad is our guest speaker next Sunday, July 19. She is with Witnessing Ministries.
Missions/Outreach Committee will meet Sunday in the library after the service.
Adult Discipleship will not be meeting in July or August.
Summer Worship Celebrations— are going to be once a month this summer. This Saturday, July 18 at 5:30 pm Justin Hebert will lead the worship and songs.
Lost Items— used for youth related events are on the counter outside the office. There is a stainless steel serving spoon, fork to salad tongs, and a Rubbermaid container with a lid. If they are not claimed they will be donated to Open Gate.

Welcome Diana Musson today, she will share her experiences while in Indonesia.  She has items displayed in the narthex. Enjoy finger sandwiches, cookies, punch and coffee served after the service.

July “Missions Month”— only one service at 10 am. Postcards in the narthex are for you to take to invite your friends and family to our church services.

Today between services we will have a “Thank You” reception for Matt Naylor to show our appreciation for his service in Youth Ministry.  A “love offering” will be taken for him.

July Missions Month Worship Services—we will have only one service at 10 am. Each week we will have a special guest speaker. There are postcards in the narthex for you to take to invite your friends and family to our church services.

This Saturday, June 20, at 5:30 pm, we will have a worship celebration service at the church.  This is not your normal church service- this is an hour long celebration of the life of God within us!  There will be music, scripture reading, prayer, and lots of joy, so beat the heat for an hour this weekend by fanning the Holy Spirit’s flame within you.  Bring along any friends who are hesitant about church because they don’t think it’s any fun, and remember this: rejoicing in the Lord is not a recommendation; it’s a command!  And one that we are happy to obey.

Open Gate Ministries is desperate for money donations– if you could donate $10.00 per month or what ever you can spare, it is a gift from God to them.  If you have it in your hearts to donate monthly as your budget allows, please do so (all donations are tax deductible).

Cruisers “Summer BBQ”—June 19, 6:30 pm at Larry & Sherry White’s, 1050 Lincoln, Dinuba.  The cost is $5.00 per person and everything is provided.  RSVP to 591-2327 by June 18.  Everyone is welcome.

Eric Sunderland received The Jagow Award in Homiletics and Speech from Princeton Theological Seminary June 1 at the school’s 197th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 23, 2009.  Eric will be a senior in the Master of Divinity program in the fall.
