Presbyterian Women invites you to the Quarterly Meeting this Saturday at 9 a.m. Friendship Circle will serve a delicious brunch. We have invited Annett Aiken, she’s a talented lady who has had many experiences that she will share with us. Thank Offering will be dedicated. We hope you will be there.
Sunday, October 5 at 9 a.m. Pastor Kent will have a GA presentation on action to change the Book of Order regarding ordination of gays.
There will be a Congregational Meeting Sunday, October 5 right after the single service for the purpose of electing new officers (see bulletin insert for nominees of elders, deacons and trustees) for the period beginning January 1, 2009, and financing of the church building.
Tulare-Kings Right to Life 13th annual banquet, this Tuesday. See information on the table in the foyer.
Bob Williams memorial service will be this Friday at 3 p.m. here at the church with light refreshments to follow.

Raisin Festival Women’s Luncheon- this Wednesday, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, in Dinuba.
Women’s Bible Study is on Monday morning at 9:30 and led by Pastor Kent in the study of Galatians. He is also offering a Bible Study Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend both classes.
F.I.R.M. will be having their 15th Anniversary Banquet at Wolf Lakes, this Friday, from 6-8:30 p.m. Call Marge Freeman at 591-2976 for further information.

Pastor Kent will be leading a class on baptism in the church library for any who are interested in being baptized or having your children baptized today (Sunday, September 14th) at 4:00 p.m.
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study starts tomorrow morning at 9:30 and also a Bible Study on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Kent will be leading a six week study in Galatians. They meet in the library and all are welcome to attend.

Cruisers-this Friday, September 19 at 6:30 p.m., here at the church for a potluck dinner. If you plan on attending, give a call before 9/16 to Janelle Cochran at 591-3367 for menu planning (main dish or dessert).

Beginning today our worship schedule will be as follows: every 1st Sunday-one service at 10 a.m.-Communion, all other Sunday’s-2 services, 9 a.m. Traditional and 10:30 a.m. Contemporary.
